I had never been to Port Huron before, so I was SO excited when Claire’s mom asked if I could go there for her senior photos. When I arrived on the day of our shoot, I got there early enough to be able to scout out the spots in the downtown area they had suggested. I was enthralled by the cute downtown shops and the beauty of the waterfront! As I was driving down Huron Ave, I even got to see the drawbridge raise for a couple of boats!

Right off the bat when Claire and her mom stepped out of their vehicle, I could tell it was going to be a wonderful shoot! I was immediately OBSESSED with Claire’s hot pink top, I love when my seniors add in pops of bright colors! It was the perfect evening as well; not too hot and (our shoot was at the peak of the Canadian wildfires, so the air had been super hazy and smoky prior to this) the air was a lot less hazy which was perfect! Claire and I talked about her future plans after high school and talked about her upcoming senior year. It took me right back to the summer before my own senior year in high school and how exciting of a time it was!
